May 14 2025

Books by Eva Fretheim has now been sold to FOUR countries! The latest publishers to acquire this crime series are Bokförlaget Forum in Sweden and A.W. Bruna Uitgevers in the Netherlands, following earlier deals with Gyldendal (Denmark) and Rowohlt (Germany).

This is a brilliant start to Eva’s fabulous authorship; not only have publishers been acquiring all three titles, but they also highlight this as the kind of crime fiction they’ve been eagerly awaiting. We’re only just getting started, and it’s a joy to be bringing this beautiful body of work out into the world!

Susan Sandérus, commissioning editor at A.W. Bruna, says:
“Eva Fretheim’s work is something special. She combines superb writing, sharp plotting, and perfect pacing with unforgettable protagonists. This is thriller writing at its best: original, immersive, and driven by authentic, lifelike characters.”
